The functionality described below is available only to organizations who are on Cobalt version 4.0 or higher.
When using the Membership Directory functionality, there are three options for how much information is displayed about an individual Member. Members can control which level of information they share through their Profile on the portal.
This page on the Profile section can be set up by staff through the instructions in this article: Setting Up Display in Membership Directory.
The three levels are Full, Limited, and No Display.
Full Display
For this option, Members should choose "Display My Full Membership Profile". This shows:
- Full name
- Membership information: Member Type and Membership's Expiration Date
- Address
- Business Phone
- Employer
Here is an example of this option in the Directory:
Limited Display
For this option, Members should choose "Display My Limited Membership Profile". This shows:
- Full name
- Membership information: Member Type and Membership's Expiration Date
- Employer
Here is an example:
No Display
For this option, Members should choose "Do Not List Me in the Membership Directory". This excludes them entirely, and a search for them in the Directory will yield no results.
