Editing the Membership Upsell Message / Member Savings Message

With the new implementation of the Universal Cart, there are now specific messages that appear on the portal which can be configured to your liking. The Membership Upsell message will display for nonmembers (Contacts who do not have an Active Membership record) when checking out items in their cart and will display how much they could’ve saved if they were members, to persuade them into joining the membership.

The Member Savings message will display for members (Contacts who have an Active Membership record) when checking out items in their cart that show how much money they saved by being a member.

Both messages are configurable through their Service Configuration Property records. Please follow these steps to edit these messages:

  1. Navigate to the Settings record in the CRM
  2. Click on Related and navigate to Integration Services
  3. Click into the Application Configuration record

4. For the Membership Upsell message, click into the MembershipUpsellMessage Service Configuration Property record and edit the value:

Note: The <a href="/Sales/Catalog/Payment/MembershipUpsell.aspx">signing up</a> will appear as signing up, which will be hyperlinked to the provided URL

5. For the Member Savings message, click into the CartMemberSavingsMessage Service Configuration Property record and edit the value:

Note: The <strong>{0}</strong> will calculate and display the value of the Member discount.
