Tracking Competitors

Similarly to how you track data on Accounts, Contacts, Leads, and Opportunities; you may also track and compile information about your Competitors all in one place.

1. To get started, navigate to the Sales app/area and click Competitors

2. Click +New, then fill in required fields

  • Name - Name of the company.
  • Website - Competitor's main website.
  • Currency - Currency the organization operates under.
  • Address information for the organization:
    • Street 1, Street 2, Street 3, City, State/Province, ZIP/Postal Code, Country/Region.

3. Document Competitor Strengths and Weaknesses in the free text fields

4. Relate Opportunity records where the Competitor is involved

Click the related Opportunities tab, then select Add Existing Opportunity. From there, select the correct record and click Add.

Or vice versa, you may also choose to add related Competitors from the Opportunity record.
