Context
As of Cobalt v. 4.0+, password resets on the Cobalt Portal are done through Microsoft Entra. This article will detail that process.
Reset Password
If a user has forgotten or lost their password, they can return to the portal login and enter their email address, then click Next. On the password entry page, they will click "Forgot password?"
This triggers a verification (MFA) code from Microsoft to be sent to their email.
After entering the code and continuing, they will be prompted to enter and confirm a new password.
After clicking "Reset password", they will need to verify their identity by sending another code to their account's email.
After entering this final code, their password will be reset and they will be logged in and taken to the Cobalt Portal.
