Cancel a Membership or Membership Application

Cancel A Membership

1. Navigate to Cobalt Membership > Memberships
2. Select the membership or open the membership record you want to cancel.
3. Click Deactivate in the top toolbar. 
4. Select a reason for canceling the membership in the popup window. 
5. Click Ok.

The record status will automatically change to what you specified.

Cancel A Membership Application

1. Navigate to Cobalt Membership > Membership Applications
2. Select the membership application record or open the membership application record.
3. Click Deactivate in the top toolbar.
4. Select a reason for canceling the membership application in the popup window.
5. Click Ok.

The application status will automatically change to what you specified. If you selected "canceled" for the status reason, and there is an active membership attached to the membership application, the membership status will change to Inactive: Inactive.
