In Cobalt 3.2+ passwords for contacts are hashed for security, but you may need to access a contact account on the portal to assist your customers. Rather than reset the password, you can impersonate the contact for access to the portal. This can be useful for your customer service staff to help with troubleshooting issues or answering questions.

1. In CRM navigate to the contact you wish to impersonate.

2. Under the More Commands ... button click Impersonate

3. A new window or tab will open with the portal home page.
