Audit Summary View

Although going to individual records within CRM and viewing the Audit History is always helpful, the Audit Summary View is unique in that it compiles all events (that are typically housed in the Audit History of each individual record) in your system by date/time (along with other filters). So you can search for events on multiple record types at the same time, or even search for deleted record information.

You can filter the results, by date, Event, User (Changed By), and Entity.

Click Enable/Disable Filters

Then click the drop down arrows beside the filter type you want to narrow down.

You can narrow down multiple columns at once so for an example, you can search for records from 11/19 that were deleted by User A and have the record type be Contact.

Deleted Records do not show Record Name, but can be opened to reveal some information.

Deleted Records do not show Record Name, but can be opened to reveal some information.

You can double click the "white space" of a record to open it and get some details about the deleted record even if the Record or Display Name is unavailable. Deleted records cannot be restored from the audit history but you can get some information to help recreate a record or at least know when a record was deleted and by which user if you are trying to figure out why it was removed.
