As of Cobalt 4.1, candidates can now request special accommodations for certain Exam Types. This article will cover how to set up those special accommodation reason records.
Pre-requisites:
- An active Exam Type record with with an active Test and related Test Fees
- An active Certification Type with at least one active Initial Certification Application Type.
- Initial Certification Application Type should have at least one related Requirement where mode = Exam and has a related fee.
- Note – the “Exam” mode Requirement should have the Exam Type lookup be the same Exam Type from above.
The Set Up:
From the Exam Type record, navigate to the related 'Special Accommodations Reasons'
This tab will display all the Special Accommodations that candidates can select on their application. You can select Add existing to add one or create a new one to add.
You can also run an Advanced Find report and set the look for to 'Special Accommodations', then on the results page, click 'Add new...', this will get you to same page where you can add the new accommodation type.
Once saved and added, you can add existing Initial Certification applications if needed.
