As of Cobalt 3.11+, a public-facing portal Certificant Directory has been introduced. This directory displays all certificants who opt to be displayed in a directory and their relevant certifications (if the type of certification is eligible to be displayed).
The directory can be accessed directly via [Portal URL]/Public/Certificants.aspx.
Set Up
In order for a certificant to appear on the directory, the following prerequisites must be met:
Contact:
- Status = Active
- "Display in Certificant Directory" = Yes
Certification Type (of related certification contact holds):
- "Display in Certificant Directory" = Yes
ReCAPTCHA:
ReCAPTCHA is supported for the directory - once a certain number of searches have been made, individuals will need to complete a ReCAPTCHA to continue searching. This is optional, and the number of searches is configurable.
Below are steps on how to configure the amount of searches until individuals see the ReCAPTCHA:
- In Dynamics 365, navigate to the system's Settings record (this can be done via the app launcher > Cobalt Settings > System Settings)
- Open your organization's Settings record
- In the Settings record, look at the related records (via the '...' button) and open Integration Services
- Open the Service Configuration record titled: "Recaptcha Configuration"
- Open the "NumAttemptsBeforeCaptcha" Service Configuration Property and adjust the Value to the desired attempt amount before a ReCAPTCHA is prompted.
Process
Users on the directory page can search for certificants based on some combination of first name, last name, and ID number. This directory will display the full name of the Contact, their ID Number, and their city and state of residence. The full name of the Contact will be a hyperlink to a lightbox for additional details.
