Enabling/Disabling the Universal Cart

This Article will show you how to Enable and Disable the Universal Cart functionality.

Enabling the Universal Cart Part

1. In Dynamics 365 click the cog wheel on the top right of the page

2. Select the Advanced Settings option

3. In Advanced Settings, open the settings section

4. Open your organization's settings record

5. In the settings record, look at the related records and open Integration Services

6. Open the Service Configuration record titles "Portal Properties Service Configuration"

7. On the Service Configuration record, locate the UniversalCheckoutEnabled Service Configuration Property

8. Open that Service Configuration Property and change the Value to True

Disabling the Universal Cart

For this you will follow the same steps as enabling but you will set the Value to False

Once you have done this you will also need to adjust all the open orders in the system tied to a Cart. These orders will need to have their lookup to a cart removed. You can follow the steps below on how to do that.

1. In Dynamics 365, click the funnel icon on the top left to open an Advanced Find

2. Set the Look for to Orders

3. Add a criteria looking for the Cart that contains data.

4. Add a criteria looking for the Status equal Active

5. Click the Results button

6. Open an order from the results

7. Remove the cart from the Order record

8. Save the record

9. Repeat the steps for the remaining results
