In Cobalt’s version of Dynamics 365 you can also submit Membership Applications for Account-based Memberships. This can be done through CRM with use of the Membership Application Wizard or through the Portal. Prerequisites
- Verify you have a member type where type = account and there is at least one application fee
- Verify you have a contact that has an active contact affiliation that has a related account portal role where ‘Manage Organizational Membership’ = Yes
Directions
- Log in or impersonate as a contact that meets the prerequisites above.
- Click into the account based membership application link (in the ‘Organizational Membership tile’ pictured below) If there is a form connected to the application, proceed through the form.
3. Submit a payment for the application
Results
- The Membership Application will have the Account Look Up filled populated with the Account the Membership Application was submitted for
- Any Pending Requirements that do not have a manual mode will be deactivated as completed.
- Membership will be generated with the following:
- Date submitted as the Join date
- An Expiration date based on the Membership Expiration Fee on the Membership Application Fee.
